I've just found the same in my M1717A. Works great with ST Low and Med and quite good with Hi-Res (through a switch I recalled I had somewhere in a drawer :) )

I don't have a right cable to test VBXE, but when I find time to make one, I'll let you know if it works too.

Suprisingly, my M1721A doesn't have RGB-DVT input in its menu :(
Is it only M1717A and M1921A that have it?

Just discovered that the M1921A will sync down to 15KHz via the VGA-in, if the input source "RGB-DTV" is selected:

VBXE image quality is somewhat better than through SCART.

Still can't get the phase/clock set correctly with ST hi-res, however - nor can I get low/med res to work (although they do work via SCART of course).

My MEGA STE's mono hi-res works fine with mine M1721A connected through DIN13-to-DSUB (VGA) adaptor.

Jacques, TT video modes (beside TT HIGH) works with accepted by LCD screen refresh rate 60Hz, therefore they should work on LCD properly.

flashjazzcat, as far as I know, higher refresh rate aren't well supported by LCD, therefore I guess that ST-High with its 71Hz will not work on it.

I used it with TT and TT resolutions were displayed fine on my M1721A.

Is this M1721A supposed to be able to display ST hi-res via the DSUB 15? I can get a picture, but can't adjust the phase / clock enough to get rid of the black vertical bars. Shame, because this would have been a nice all-round monitor for all 3 ST modes.

No to tak, w jednym kablu miałem 120ohm, a w drugim 150ohm na R, G i B. Bez oporników na synchronizacji. Po długich i skomplikowanych obliczeniach uwzględniając długość kabla, materiał styków, szerokość geograficzną fabryki LG wyszło że trzeba zmienić na 270ohm... no dobra, po prostu to były jedyne z rozsądnego zakresu jakie miałem w ilości 3 sztuk :) :) Gdzieś tu w innym wątku ktoś kiedyś pisał żeby dawać też na synchronizację, to dodałem 220ohm na c.sync.
W zasadzie pomogło, choć upscaling robi swoje i jak dla mnie to oczywiście nadal nie jest to samo co na CRT.
W każdym razie dzięki za radę.
