Development version TURGEN DEV(8.2) should support Turbo blizzard. It was tested using A8CAS extended emulator and worked fine. It is unknown whether it works on real system. You can download that development
version from here: http://www.baktra.wz.cz/software/turgen/english.html

Try new version of this (not only) KSO Turbo generator:
http://baktra.wz.cz/english/turgen.html
Does it work with real hardware ?

New version of the utility can be found here (still not tested with real hardware):
http://baktra.wz.cz/english/turgen.html
Some instructions in english are included too. It's possible to alter pulse lengths easily if necessary.
The pulses are now clean and strictly rectangular

Hello everybody.

I am preparing something like XEX2WAV utility which produces KSO turbo record. I am looking for
some volunteers who own KSO Turbo extended XC-12 to make test with real hardware.

I've tested the utility with turbo capture program and it says the record is OK. But what will "say" real XC-12 ?

If you agree to do a test, please download the following file:
http://baktra.wz.cz/umonxl.7z
(it's compressed wave sound file)

unpack it, record it to a cassette and try it with real hardware.
Then write here, what happened (loader recognizes absolutely nothing, the screen is blank - loader recognizes pilot tone and shows stripes on the screen, etc. ,etc.)

Thanks in advance

I've finished the first version of the plugin. Check your e-mail and see the attachment ts6kso.zip.<br>
I have also published the first version temporarily here:

http://baktra.wz.cz/ts6kso.zip

The Henryk Cygert's program succesfully decodes the generated signal. Please test it with real Atari

Any other volunteers can test it with real hardware too. Unpack the archive and see ksoturbo.pdf for instructions.
Thanks in advance for testing.

I've received the e-mail and  also downloaded the program from pigwa. I will start the job. Thank you.

You can test it and see how it looks but beware:
My program RECENTLY DOES NOT SUPPORT ANY POLISH TURBO, but only Turbo from former Czechoslovakia. (But as I wrote i am PLANNING
support for KSO TURBO)

You can download the tool from
http://baktra.wz.cz/software/turgen/download.html
file ts6.zip. It requieres Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2 to RUN and also WINDOWS,LINUX OR SOLARIS  User interface is in english, but documentation is still only in czech.

Take into account I'll need a "little" help:
- at least sampled record with KSO TURBO (as WAV)
- a bit of documentation (how does the format look, header, checksums etc.)
- somebody who will do the tests (of course I don't have XC-12 with KSO turbo extension board)

Yes, this sounds complicated.

You can contact me also here: zylon@post.cz (i am not permanently on-line)

Does exist a XEX2WAV convertor which does not produce the standard (600bd) record like CAS2WAV, but KSO Turbo record ?
Does exist a demand for such program ?

Why I asked these questions ?
I wrote such program which generates Czechoslovak turbo formats, and I am planning to write more plugins for it. One of them can
be KSO TURBO.
