Obviously we talk pretty funny over here :)

Last weekend I added a modecode-bit which forces a dual-screen mode, and a demo video of a dual-screen AES-desktop will be published shortly. It's really awesome to see this on an Atari for the first time. The cool part of it is that it really doesn't require any fancy/special handling in the VDI, since it's based on two aligned virtual screens.

Next thing to do is to accellerate filled rectangles. They're accellerated in the VDI already, but so far I have only accellerated opaque-blits in the NVDI driver. This makes a big difference when the GEM screen takes 10+ megabytes (compare that to the 32k on the ST)!

Note: Sorry for not attempting to write in polish again, but google translate makes everything look really silly anyway, ha?

EDIT: 5th demo video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WwD8hSVF_E

aha, jest jeszcze cos takiego jak x128, port pod MINTa, ale zdaje sie ze wymaga to CT60.

(sorry for switching language; I only know three words of polish language! I do however read the forum on a regular basis through google translate)

Unfortunately x128 is very inefficient (I'm the one who ported it). I rewrote the screen rendering and YM-emulation to native Falcon code, but it still requires a 060 to run well. The good part is that it seems to work well on such setups.

If someone could persuade the authors of Speccy 2.07 to release the source code, I would love to extend it with YM emulation and some more stuff. Unfortunately I have not been able to get in touch with them..

Cześć przyjaciele!

Nature mówi:

"SuperVidel production is closing in!

It is now time for you to re-register your interest in buying the SuperVidel. This is because we started the poll 1.5 years ago and since then the CTPCI has been released and generally people may have lost interest. So we need to get a fresh picture of how many boards to actually produce, since that will affect the price of each unit. So please go to the SV interest poll at our main page, click the update link and carefully follow the instructions.

You HAVE to update your registration to be counted, if you originally registered or updated before Feb 1st 2011. If you have any questions, email us!

Best regards
