try loading atr without sio cable connected to the cart (or shift-enter), in that case "pbi new device" os functionality is used instead of forcing hsio patched os, that could be more compatible with your mem/os expansion

anyway, eci cable is primarily targeted for stock machines otherwise weird collisions can happen

btw, if there's any functionality that anyone finds useful and it's missing, let me know, i'll see what can be done about it

e.g. that scenario with action!, hdd and mounted atrs could be trivially added via stacking with sdx cart (that's already somewhat implemented in beta) without even requiring u1mb (i believe there were even some pre-stacked CAR files that had side2 sdx and OSS carts in them, those should work even with the current (released) firmware)

of course when SIDE emulation is enabled, disk/partitions are also picked up by U1MB's PBI bios so you don't need SIDE.SYS
