I own an Atari TT and like to connect it to an TFT screen. Are there convertors that convert ECL to VGA, I like to use the TT hi-res on my TFT...

Yes, you can use it with a special converter, I can make it. Converter has its own power supply, price is rather high. It converts differential ECL signal from TT to monochrome VGA signal.
